00:00Okay, so we also did an ash 3D simulation of the ash dispersion for Canlaon Volcano
00:07for the December 9 event and based on our modeling, it shows that the ash moved towards
00:14the western side or southwest and the western side.
00:20So this would corroborate what we saw in the field.
00:25Meron kaming team ngayon do na nag kumuha ng information about the ash dispersion after
00:36that event.
00:38Next slide.
00:40And these are the update, the ashfall reports.
00:44Meron tayong four provinces na nag report ng ashfall and it went as far as Antique,
00:54which is more than 300 kilometers away.
00:57So ganun po kalakas yung eruption and again, marami din ng mga factors yan depende sa hangin.
01:04Next slide.
01:07Next slide.
01:09And ito yung pyroplastic density currents, yung report, mga areas na affected would be
01:16sa La Castellana as well as Canlaon City in Negros Oriental.
01:21Next slide.
01:23And again, ito yung alert level scheme ng Canlaon Volcano.
01:27Again, we're now on alert level three.
01:29It means that magmatic inclusion to shallow levels of the edifice is driving unrest and
01:36there are indications that hazardous eruptions could occur in weeks.
01:41And this is the reason why we expanded the danger zone from the permanent danger zone,
01:49which is 4 kilometers to 6 kilometers, because there is a possibility na magkaroon ng hazardous
01:55eruption and magkaroon ng pyroplastic density current na lalagpas doon sa permanent danger
02:01zone which is 4 kilometers, kasi yung pyroplastic density current na na-absorbed natin for the
02:07December 9 eruption, umabot ng 3.4 kilometers from the summit.
02:14So next slide.
02:17And update of the monitored parameters between December 10, 12 a.m. to December 11, kanina,
02:2312 a.m., we were able to record 31 volcanic earthquakes.
02:28This is higher than the 19 volcanic earthquakes that were recorded between December 9 to December
02:3210.
02:34And yesterday, we recorded 4,121 tons per day of sulfur dioxide, higher than the 1,669
02:42tons per day that were recorded in December 9.
02:45And yesterday also, there were two ash emission events at 331 to 410, 100 meters lang naman,
02:54and at 435 to 446, also 100 meters.
