00:00We have hot news. The Bicameral Committee of the Congress has approved the national budget for the next year. We have a report on the spot with Mav Gonzalez. Mav.

00:12Tony, the Bicameral Conference Committee just adopted the 6.352 trillion 2025 national budget BICAM report.

00:21But for now, we don't have details on whether the increase of the OVP budget is included here, which is now at P733 million.

00:30Some Senators haven't seen the report yet, so they haven't signed it yet.

00:35There is still no information on whether the fund of the ACAP program was returned, which was removed by the Senate.

00:40But what the Senate Committee on Finance Chairperson Senator Grace Poe said is that the Congress is expecting the fund of important agencies,

00:47particularly on social protection, livelihood programs, health, education, and disaster response.

00:53Senate President Chief Escudero said earlier that they will give the President the fund to make the plans and priorities of the administration.

01:02Some Senators that we have talked to haven't signed the BICAM report because they haven't read it yet, including Senator Risa Conteveros and Senator Bato de la Rosa.

01:13What former Senate President Migs Ubiri wants is to return to the NEP level the agencies that they support.

01:20Senator Grace Poe said that in most cases, the funds will return to the NEP level.

01:27Later, Tony, the Senate and the Camera are expecting to ratify the BICAM report so that it can be sent to the President and signed before Christmas, Tony.
