00:00Explore the great transformations of our time, from geopolitics to technology, and live as
00:09protagonists of change in action. This is the goal of the thirteenth issue of The Corporate
00:14Communication Magazine, entitled La velocità del cambiamento, economia, società, cultura,
00:20edited by ICCH, the International Observatory on Corporate and Institutional Communication,
00:25and presented in Milan. La velocità del cambiamento is in fact one of the elements
00:29that determine the present the most, intertwining with the ability to understand that same
00:34transformation and manage it in its own favor.
00:36Today we wanted to examine in depth the theme of the speed of change, a theme that obviously
00:43affects all of us and makes us reflect on how the more time passes, the more the change
00:49is evident and fast, and with the passage of time it becomes faster and more incisive
00:55on the lives of all of us, and it is therefore important not to be scared by this speed,
01:00but to try to manage it and to direct it in an ethical and sustainable way for all of us.
01:06Local and national administrations also have the task of using digital tools
01:11to welcome the citizens' rooms and provide them with as much information as possible
01:16on the services they can enjoy.
01:18There are three major areas of change that we are focusing on. One concerns the social
01:24and accessibility, and the cost of living in the city, which is fundamental for us.
01:29There is then an accompaniment to what is the environmental transition, to the impacts
01:34that it has, both from an energy point of view and from a mobility point of view.
01:38Then there is the part that concerns digital change and the ability of the administration
01:44to renew the tools of interaction with citizens through not only their own site,
01:50but also applications, also through tools such as the digital twin of the administration.
01:56Education of the new tools that artificial intelligence produces is fundamental,
02:01and in this sense the role of communication is essential.
02:04The role of communication is essential because it depends on the communication
02:10that we develop with respect to the presentation of these tools,
02:13with respect to the critical analysis of these tools,
02:16that these tools in our hands can then result in productive tools,
02:21self-development tools.
02:23Certainly, we must work much better on communication,
02:27because at the moment there is a lot of confusion about the role that artificial intelligence
02:32can play in our social contexts.
02:35And we must commit, I say it first, we who are educators, in this direction.
