00:00it's windy there in SoCal. We have a Santa Ana wind event, which means that
00:07we have winds coming out of the north and east, moving offshore. And when you
00:12get a setup like this, you can really hear those winds howling. It really does
00:17create a lot of problems there when it comes to dangerous crosswinds, fire
00:21weather risk. We'll dive into that in just a bit. But we could see gusts
00:25through Monday night, Tuesday night, anywhere between 40 to 60 MPH. With
00:30that high fire weather danger, that's no good. Dangerous crosswinds for
00:34motorists up I-5, I-15. Your acrylical storm X could hit as high as 90 MPH,
00:40so be on the lookout. You'll note that these winds are still coming out of the
00:44north and east here at least through Tuesday morning. This is around 11 a.m.
00:48Pacific time. Then you'll start to see some changes here as we do head into
00:53Tuesday. That's why we have that area highlighted there through Monday night
00:57through Tuesday night. With that, we do have a high fire risk here on Monday,
01:02critical anywhere across the LA suburbs, even east of San Diego, especially
01:08towards the inland valleys, the deserts, the mountainous terrain. Similar story,
01:13LA, north, Burbank. That's where we're tracking some extreme fire weather risk
01:18here by Tuesday, Tuesday night. So heads up, we're warning you that with these
01:22winds, we could see some problems there. So do yourself a favor, no outdoor
01:27burning recommended on days like this. Tuesday overall, across the west, we're
01:32tracking some cooler air further north. Not a lot of action to track though.
01:36Helena, you're at 42. Boise, 39. San Diego, you'll have the sunshine dry, 73. Also
01:43not going to help with that fire weather risk. Las Vegas, you are at 57 to top off
01:49on your Tuesday. A little chilly.
