Two restaurants located on Jalan Pantai Chenang in Langkawi, were destroyed in a fire Sunday (Dec 8) night.
Langkawi Zone Fire and Rescue chief Supt Mohd Zamri Abdul Ghani said there were no casualties and the fire was brought under control.

00:37Upon arriving at the location, firefighters found that the incident initially involved
00:42a Class A building restaurant, which was 100% destroyed.
00:47However, the fire spread to an adjacent restaurant of the same class, which was 90% destroyed.
00:53A car in the area was also 5% burnt.
00:57Unfortunately, there were no casualties and the fire was brought under control.
