00:00Kamani Vidal is essentially available everywhere, but how many touches do you foresee for Kamani
00:08Vidal this afternoon?
00:11That's the trick.
00:12He only saw four last week, but he did have 20 yards on those four and he did get a little
00:15bit of red zone work.
00:17So Gus Edwards doesn't look great.
00:20I'll just be honest with you.
00:21Vidal is the one that I would circle on this list right now that I think is the most useful
00:26potentially starting next week.
00:30And the reason is you have Dobbins on the IR, Gus Edwards doesn't look good, Haskins
00:33has had some fumble issues.
00:35So the rookie Vidal has some ability here down the stretch on a team that you know they
00:39want to run the football and have to run the football.
00:41That's how they're designed, where there is a range of outcomes where Vidal is the guy
00:46that has, let's say, I don't know, 10 carries for 50 yards and a touchdown.
00:51And he is the most coveted guy on the waiver wire on Monday morning when everybody wakes
00:55up.
00:57So get ahead of it and stash him now.
00:58And I know that's asking a lot for a lot of teams right now because you have guys on,
01:02you know, buy and you're desperately looking for players on your own bench.
01:05But if you already got everything locked up and you're already a playoff team, Vidal is
01:10a really interesting piece because what you don't want to have happen is some other team
01:14end up using him against you.
01:16So whether it be the gamesmanship of needing him for your own roster and looking ahead
01:20that way or protecting yourself against somebody else having him, if he starts to emerge as
01:25the lead in that trio, it might not happen and might cost you nothing to find out.
01:31But if it ends up happening today, then all of a sudden you're gonna have to pay for it
01:35next week.
01:36And that becomes more of a competition.
01:37So getting ahead of the curve when it comes to Vidal, I think is really interesting today.
01:40You can do it for free as opposed to it costing you waiver wire fab potentially on Wednesday.
01:46So Vidal again might not pay off and all you have to do is then just drop him that side.
01:51But picking him up now for nothing, I think is the very smart thing to do if he's available
01:54and he is in a ton of leagues.
01:56Yeah.
01:57All right.
01:58With the trend of inexperienced quarterback play on the uptick, the term possession receiver
02:02becomes very important.
02:04Adam Thielen used to be that guy.
02:07Can he be that guy one more time or three more times?
02:11Joe, he's available in six out of 10 leagues.
02:14What do you think about Adam Thielen's swan song?
02:17I don't know how useful he is this week.
02:19Again, it's a tough matchup against the Eagles.
02:21I told you could start him over certain guys this week.
02:23I think you feel more comfortable like over Parker Washington if you're in that kind of
02:26a spot.
02:27And a lot of teams are.
02:28Week 14 is brutal in terms of players that are missing.
02:31After that, though, he gets Dallas.
02:33Much better matchup.
02:34Arizona.
02:35Okay, matchup.
02:36And then in the championship week, Tampa, a great matchup.
02:40So considering he's seen 14 targets since his return, 10 alone last week in the second
02:44game and eight catches for 99 in the touchdown, these two seem to have a really good rapport.
02:50So I do think Thielen is an asset.
02:52I think it's an asset to pick up right now and have.
02:54And another one, too, is Marquez Valdez Gantling.
02:56When he talked about this guy, I understand him and neck whisper Kikinia just keeps scoring
03:00touchdowns at an alarming rate that are unsustainable completely.
03:04But it doesn't matter because they're catching touchdowns and it's fantasy points.
03:08So you just roll with it as long as you can.
03:10He's only 26% rostered and he is the number one guy right now in that offense for New
03:16Orleans.
