The Mushroom Baseball Bat

This example is 34", uncracked, and remains in tremendous overall condition. From the mushroom knob to the bold stampings and onto the near flawless finish, the bat would be a prize for any collector of early baseball bats. The one and only imperfection, mentioned only for the sake of full disclosure, is a small area of dry wood at the very top end of the barrell (pictured). It in no way detracts, and is the only thing keeping us from calling this bat mint. So, here is a near mint Spalding Mushroom bat....the images tell the entire story.
