00:29Christian single people Christian couples or Christian parents to engage with other
00:36Or all the above. I mean, we're all the
00:39Single though, we're not single. You can't sorry. You can't you can't
00:43Or sing huh? We actually just so what we do on there is we film live podcast
00:48So we actually go live and we answer you guys top questions on there
00:51And we have a lot of other features
00:53Within there that I won't get too into the depth stuff because I think we talked about it in the previous video
00:56But we're super excited about this. Yeah, super excited about this community this app that we built

01:09But we've been doing most of our videos on that app and they live on there and we've been doing them live
01:14Which has been a lot of fun because we're used to uploading
01:17Videos on YouTube that aren't live and now doing the live podcast on there are really fun
01:21So we can edit these we can't edit those

01:58But we do want to chat with you guys about two really big
02:01Life events that have happened because it's been over a month since we've been on here. Yeah
02:07First I guess we'll go in order first one was I met Trump. Yeah, I met Trump the election happened. Everything was crazy
02:13We're not politicians. I don't love politics. So we're not gonna get too much into like the
02:18Political side of things
02:19But I just kind of want to share a little bit of my perspective. I I went a lot more in-depth on this usually are
02:26They we call them our live podcast because it's essentially our podcasts, but they're live on the bear food up
02:31So we went more into depth on it on there if you're interested
02:33Go check that out, but I'm gonna share the shortened versions of both of these cool things, but
02:38essentially
02:40The election was happening and I wanted to pray over both Trump and Kamala
02:46I just thought that would be a really cool opportunity if it was possible and I really wanted to ask both Trump and Kamala
02:53three questions about Jesus
02:56They had answered a lot of
02:59Political questions they you know, they're they get to the weeds of a lot of things that you know
03:04Maybe some that are important some that just kind of get lost in translation
03:06But there's a lot of Christians and I feel like over the years we've just built and cultivated a Christian audience
03:11So I just wanted to give them each an opportunity to answer questions about who was Jesus to them specifically
03:18That the media just doesn't seem to answer
03:21Because I was curious
03:23What what either of them would say right like I'm not even
03:27In a position to say that I think that Trump would have a more
03:30Biblical answer because I really don't know, you know, I wanted just like hey
03:34You tell me who is Jesus to you and then the Christians can
03:38Take that and apply it to their voting how they will I
03:42So I reached out to both campaigns wanting to give both in the exact opportunity
03:46Only the Trump campaign recheck out. I didn't hear anything from
03:49Kamala's team and they invited me out to a rally to where they said
03:54I
03:55Could meet Trump and get a picture with him
03:58But I and in that time I might be I might have time to ask him a question or something
04:03So I was like cool. I'll come so I showed up went to the rally
04:06It was a little wild a little crazy. I
04:09Had mixed opinions about it
04:11And then after the rally, they pulled me back and I got to meet Trump, which is really cool
04:16And I did not have time to ask him a question
04:18It was like very rushed very, you know, just very quick
04:21But I did ask if I could pray over him. And again, this is prior to Trump winning prior to anything
04:26So, you know in my head
04:28I'm just praying over somebody who might be our next president and I would do the same for Kamala
04:33and I got a favor and I was really cool and
04:36Savannah I talked and decided that I was gonna post about it and post about just why I prayed over him and
04:45You know why we might be voting the way that we are and that was just something that we felt
04:52Emotional myself because you know Savannah's even less interested in politics and I am and trust me. I'm not like
04:58I'll definitely like I just slowly started getting yeah, I mean their politics is important
05:03I think that that Christian should vote. Yeah, I think that we live in a free country and there's so many people who can't vote
05:07Mm-hmm, and it's an incredible thing that we get to elect our leaders
05:12right there there really are countries out there people just are thrown into power and
05:16You know, if you don't like Trump great and in four years you get to vote him out
05:21Are you gonna try to vote him out? Mm-hmm, you know and vice versa. Yeah, so we live in a free country and it's beautiful
05:25So, you know, there's a lot of people who speak up
05:29That's why they're supporting Kamala or Trump and and the awesome things that you have the ability to do that. Yeah, and
05:37We have family members who don't have our same political views and we get along great
05:41And we still love them and we love them and they're invited over to our house. We get invited over theirs
05:45We're allowed we have dinner around the same table and you don't have to talk about it because we just kind of know that we
05:51Disagree with it and that's totally fine. You can still love people. I think that's where our country's got so lost. It's like
05:56It's just gotten so polarizing and it's disappointing and I think it's definitely part of the candidates faults
06:03These candidates just made it really yeah tough and they made it very weaponizing but so did media so did the news
06:09I think I think it's a very complicated situation that we
06:12Don't know the folks in love. Yeah, but I say yes, I posted about it and it got a lot of crazy stuff
06:17I didn't meet Trump and he did end up winning which made the picture even quicker because I say I
06:22Get a picture with a yeah the loser, but the winner
06:26Yes, you know
06:28So that happened. Yeah, so I wanted to talk about that again
06:31I go more into depth on our bear fruit app if you want to check it out, but and then the other really big thing
06:36was
06:38Do I say I adopted I really didn't I guess we it'd be weird if I say I didn't
06:44It's kind of like under like people say like we yeah are pregnant. Yeah, it's kind of like well, I'm not pregnant
06:49Yeah, we kind of say we're pregnant. Yeah
06:52But I technically didn't have to yeah. Yeah, I mean
06:59Legally a lot of people didn't know that she wasn't already a lot of people didn't know
07:05You know, we have anything. Yeah, a lot of people. Yeah, we haven't gotten out
07:08Yeah, the total extent of the situation. It could be so long
07:11We can go we could talk about this from you know, whenever it was three
07:15But I feel like we'll save that for another time because that is just a whole
07:20I could talk like we could probably talk like for like four hours on
07:26Everything we need to either write up. We need to either write a book or make a movie. Yeah, there's just so much so much
07:34Good and bad, you know, I feel like for you
07:38Especially being the stepdad
07:41That was really hard for you
07:44Hard for a really hard for hard for us
07:47and
07:50You know a lot of people can can think of a stepdad in a bad way and
07:54You were always so good about
07:57never being a
07:59bad stepdad and I feel like you always
08:03Treated her as if she was 100% part of the family and that she didn't have a different last name than us
08:11But for us we always kind of had in the back of her head
08:14That that was something that we wanted to do right and we more so just wanted to wait
08:19For when she was ready for it and when she came to us about it, and so that was huge
08:24and
08:25That was a big special moment. Obviously, we've
08:28We got really emotional and excited and happy and all the things and it was it really wasn't
08:36That long of a process. I felt like once once she gave us the green light on that
08:41Mm-hmm
08:43But I've seen cute and sweet little things of her just like and I want to make it
08:49I don't want to make it about the last name because it's so much more than her just having the same last name as us
08:54but for
08:56Someone of her age, you know, she's almost 12. I feel like that's huge for her because everywhere we would go airports
09:03Disneyland like on our passes school her dance competitions
09:08She'd get called out as you know, you your last name is
09:12Not that we care. No, it was never us
09:14This was entirely and we can't stress that enough if she never went to get adopted
09:19She would not be loved any less or any differently. This was if you want this then we want this
09:25Yeah, and if you don't want this and that is totally fine and nothing will ever change we told her
09:31We gave her every single option that she could have as her last name
09:34You know like here you could have all three you could have just two and here was every
09:40You could you can be every
09:43And not even take the library last name if you don't want to we were so like you could do whatever you want with the
09:47Last name, it's your it's your name and she chose completely just to have it be LeBron, which I thought was really sweet
09:54And I've just like seeing really cute cute and sweet things of just her writing her last name on little things here and there
10:00Having LeBron on there telling her teacher at school like we need to change my name now
10:05And it's just been it's been a really sweet journey. I feel like just
10:11It's something big but I want to say something that's like
10:14Seems kind of small because it was just a sign of a paper almost, you know, like yeah
10:18We went into the courthouse. It was took us 10 minutes. It was it really so easy
10:22Yeah, but it is such a big thing. But something that you know, it's so small. I feel like really did
10:28Make a big difference in our family and it didn't change anything. No, but at the same time it kind of did
10:33Yeah, right where I was like, I guess I didn't expect it to but then I could come home
10:37It's like wow, like it's for her. Like yeah, it's for you, too
10:41Like I feel like for you like yeah, it's a it's big and it makes you I
10:46Don't feel like it changes anything for you. Really, you know, yeah, it's just and again
10:51I think it's only people who've ever adopted somebody or been adopted who can experience. Yeah
10:55What we're talking about but it's just it's a very emotional
10:57yeah, and it was just a very good thing that happened, you know, like all around like we just left and
11:04Every was just on cloud 9 like I have like a bunch of cute text that everybody's lovely. We're just texting us
11:10You know good night, and she texted me like a paragraph. It just like how's the best day ever and
11:17It was just a really good day
11:18Just just like one of those days that I goes down like one of the best days ever
11:21You know just like a day that you
11:23Cherish and just like like a wedding day or an engagement
11:26It's like me that was you know a day that we're gonna celebrate from now on like when we pass that day every year
11:31It's like it's a celebration. It's just a beautiful redemption story. Mm-hmm
11:36Yeah, cuz it wasn't always easy. We haven't shared
11:39Near even close to what has happened behind the scenes in a lot of ways. Yeah
11:46and so God's been good he's been faithful and
11:50Um
11:52This isn't the end
11:54We say that it's just the beginning. This is a whole new chapter a whole new story. And yeah
11:59We just feel very fortunate and very blessed and yeah and very in love with each other, right, honey. Mm-hmm
