Stargazing Cebuanos witnessed a dazzling phenomenon on the midnight of December 4, 2024. However, despite their high expectations, the bright spectacle streaking across the sky had nothing to do with the stars.
The object in question was debris from China’s Long March 3B rocket, which had launched just hours earlier.
"I was just hanging out with my co-workers outside when we captured this beautiful streak," said the filmer, Jerry, to WooGlobe. "We were happy and surprised because seeing this for the first time felt like a dream."
