00:08They're two and a half point favorites tonight against Baylor. But the issue for UConn is they haven't been able to close out some tight games.
00:14They lost to Memphis and Colorado by a bucket. And then I'm not sure what really happened against Dayton out in Maui.
00:21I suppose basically the mentality at that point is it's really tough Mike. I mean you lose two really close games.
00:27I'm not saying they laid down at all in the final one. But it doesn't seem like the team put their best effort forward in that final one in Maui.

00:39I mean you got to judge them on what they've done. And they're still in the top 25 which is one of the reasons why I just can't stand the college basketball poll and refuse to participate.
00:52Let them earn their way back in by winning games like tonight if they can. The problem for UConn tonight is their best player Alex Caravan is injured and will not play.
01:03For Baylor the problem has been that Vijay Edgecombe, their really gifted freshman that I expected huge things from, is only their fifth leading scorer.
01:13He's just not quite caught on yet. And that's caused problems for Baylor in some tougher games.
01:18So not the game that we anticipated it would be when it was on the schedule in the preseason, but an essential game for both of them. They both really need this one.
