00:20The National Authority for Child Care is completely in charge of continuing the mode of Babies for Sale, especially on social media.

00:28The last one is the 7-month-old baby rescued by the PNP Women and Children Protection Center in Rodriguez, Rizal on November 6.

00:36According to the police, the suspect sold the baby to an undercover agent worth P35,000 through a legal adoption chat group.

00:46It was a rescue operation to rescue the baby, which is now in the custody of the authorities.

00:51The 29-year-old suspect was also arrested.

00:54In a statement, NACC Undersecretary Janela Estrada said that the online baby selling is not accepted and is in the hands of the authorities

01:02because it is not sure if the child will be taken in good hands, especially in times of serious exploitation, such as sexual abuse, human trafficking, and organ donation.

01:13Since May this year, 6 children have been rescued by the authorities.

01:18And because of the increased surveillance, 14 Facebook groups and accounts were taken down for the sale of illegal products.

01:42Aside from the robbery, the children who are being rescued are also under the intervention of the DSWD on the parents of the children being abused.
