00:00Hello, hello, hello, hello. Where's all the smiles? Oh, not sure. What's your name? Leila.
00:23Leila. That's a lovely name.
00:27Okay, then why didn't you just tell me why you decided to set up the grotto here and why one of the residents is going to be playing Father Christmas?
00:33So we were aware that our resident has played Father Christmas previously for his girls up in Newcastle when he was younger and he absolutely loves it.
00:43So we decided to make the grotto and invite the local community in just because it's really expensive when you're taking your children to see Santa.
00:51Sometimes the wait can be really long whereas it's a comfortable environment to sit and wait and the residents absolutely love the children coming in.
01:00It's a big part of Christmas and it just makes everything happier when they're here.
01:05Oh look at that.
01:23Okay and Santa, how much did you enjoy seeing the kids today then?
01:26It's lovely. They all are so good and they tell me what they want. I'm checking that I have it on display and if I have it on display, they'll definitely get it.
01:39And how much are you looking forward to the big day?
01:41Very much, very much. It'll be lovely. Everybody is happy on Christmas Day.
