Calendar Girls Cancer Fundraiser

00:00Hello, yes I'm Angie Roberts. I'm here today because you very kindly offered to take a great photograph of our Calendar Girls calendar.

00:08This was an idea of mine way back in June to try and raise money for Cancer Research UK.

00:16I run two fitness classes, one in Bridge North, one in Curtin near Wolverhampton.

00:22And it was wonderful that 11 of my ladies volunteered to come forward.

00:28Plus myself to make up 12 fabulous months of the calendar.

00:33It's quite titivating but very classy and we already are heading towards £3,000 towards Cancer Research UK.

00:44So we're all very proud and we thank everyone that's donated so far to this wonderful cause.

00:50And this wonderful cause, as you know, affects many lives.

00:55And so we are trying to, Cancer Research, to help them along.

01:00Because as I say, to disaffect it, everybody knows someone that's been affected by cancer.

01:06So we thought we would do our little bit to help.

01:09And so with the help of my girls, obviously, and Roger Bowater Photography, we have come up with this wonderful calendar.

01:18And it's been a great pleasure.

01:20We had great fun on the day making it, as you can imagine.

01:23And from January to December, all the girls looked fantastic.

01:28We had lots of fun arranging the props.

01:31And we had lots of baking on the day.

01:35And ladies helping us out, giving us drinks and keeping us well fed and warm, obviously.

01:41But in June, it wasn't too bad with the weather.

01:45So here we go. And we hope that people will still donate to my GoFundMe page for Angie's Angels calendar.

01:54And we hope we can go forward and raise lots more money.
