00:00So, another tip that I recommend you do is basically to sign your whole family up for
00:08birthday freebies. So, if you know your birthday is coming up, sign up for basically everything,
00:14you know, sort of the email schemes, because retailers will send you deals, coupons, discounts
00:18to get you money off their items. And this can add up to quite a bit of money once you've
00:23signed up to all of them. A little tip for that as well, I've set up a separate email
00:27so it doesn't, you know, spam my normal email account with a load of different offers, so
00:31I miss my normal emails. But if you can set up a free email account for free, you know,
00:36get all of these offers into your email account, then hopefully you'll save a bit of money
00:39there. And over the festive period, if you are driving as well, I've got a few tips that
00:44will help you save some money on your fuel bill. So, if you wanted to drive more efficiently
00:51and increase your miles per gallon in a car, because the price of fuel is so high at the
00:55moment, this can actually add up to hundreds or even thousands of pounds worth of savings
00:59over the year. So, there are three tips that can help with your fuel economy and miles
01:03per gallon. The first one is, if you can drive at 60 miles an hour, rather than 70 miles
01:09an hour, that can add up to quite a bit of money saved, because your car is more fuel
01:13efficient at a lower speed. So, if you don't have to be anywhere in a rush, you can do
01:17that. If you see a red light or a traffic light or a roundabout up ahead, if you lift
01:23off the accelerator before you get to that place and not just use a heavy right foot,
01:27then that can save you quite a bit of money. And also, if you brake slowly as opposed to
01:32brake suddenly, you know, sort of drive up to a roundabout and then just stop. If you
01:35brake suddenly, that can save you quite a bit as well. And even if you increase your
01:39miles per gallon by, you know, five, 10 per year, that can add up to hundreds of pounds.
01:45Even in my small little hatchback, you know, that can save me sort of 150, 200 pounds a
01:50year. And because the price of fuel is so high, that can really add up. So, if you are
01:54travelling over Christmas, remember that, and for the future as well.
