00:00Taal Volcano recorded another phreatic eruption this morning.
00:04The minor eruption lasted for four minutes, starting at 5.58 a.m. and ending at 6.02 a.m.
00:11The volcano emitted thin ash that reached more than 2,000 meters and drifted
00:16southwest, affecting Barangay Boso-Boso in Laurel.
00:20Despite this, PHIVOLCS Director Dr. Teresito Bacolcol clarified the likelihood of a
00:26major eruption remains low as only two volcanic eruptions have been recorded so far.
00:32However, 17 public schools immediately shifted
00:36to modular distance learning following the phreatic eruption.
