00:00Former Prime Minister Najib Razak said his then-colleague Ahmad Hosni Hanazla never raised

00:07any objections about 1MDB when the latter served as the second finance minister.

00:11In his 1MDB hearing today, Najib said there were no cabinet meeting minutes to indicate

00:16that Hosni disagreed with the federal government taking over the Turangandu Investment Authority

00:21in 2009.

00:23Earlier, Hosni told the court that he had cited the risks of setting up 1MDB, but Najib

00:28still decided to establish the Sovereign Wealth Fund.

00:32Najib told the court a feasibility study was unnecessary in this case because 1MDB was

00:37not a newly formed company, but simply a rebranding of TIA.

00:42He claimed that Hosni's testimony was a self-serving attempt at distancing himself

00:46from the 1MDB scandal or to overplay his purported involvement in 1MDB.
