00:00In other news, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. recently visited a large and important facility in Quezon Province.

00:10The facility is not only a reminder of the country's efforts to use food security,

00:18but also to strengthen the trust of the people of the country.

00:32Food security in the country will be strengthened

00:35after President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. inaugurated a flour mill in Sariaya, Quezon.

00:41The Universal Rubina Corporation's flour mill covers an area of 10 hectares.

00:46It is expected to process 1,320 tons of flour per day.

00:52Therefore, if the products from this flour mill are combined,

00:56and two more from Manila and Davao,

00:58the company will be able to produce 3,470 tons of flour per day,

01:03which is equivalent to 104,000 bags.

01:06According to the President, this will meet the country's large demand.

01:10At the same time, the economy will prosper,

01:12especially since it will create job opportunities in the region.

01:15In a time when every grain counts,

01:18this establishment will aid in ensuring that our people have the resources they need

01:23to nourish themselves and the future of our nation.

01:27With this new plan,

01:29the URC has positioned itself as a key player in our nation's food security,

01:34driving economic stability and innovation.

01:37The President appointed this facility

01:40as part of the government's goal for the strong and sustainable flour production in the country.

01:45He also recognized the role of the private sector

01:48as a pillar of the government in implementing its initiatives,

01:52especially in food security.

01:54And the government was assured that it will continue to support

01:57the local manufacturers and producers.

02:00This administration acknowledges the critical role you play

02:04in advancing our socio-economic growth,

02:07boosting farm productivity,

02:09supporting MSMEs,

02:11and ensuring the food security of our nation.

02:14We will continue to create a supportive environment

02:18for our partners in the private sector

02:21through laws and agreements that promote the interests

02:24of both manufacturers and consumers alike.

02:27According to the URC,

02:29this will only show their confidence in investing in the country

02:34because of the stable economic environment under the Marcos Jr. administration.

02:38This 5.4 billion peso investment

02:41is an affirmation of our confidence in our economy

02:45and the conducive investment climate created in our country by our dear President.

02:51It's also a concrete manifestation of our steadfast support

02:56to improving our nation's food securities,

02:59fully aligning to the priorities of His Excellency President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

03:04This is the so-called largest flour plant

03:07of the so-called private food and beverage firm

03:10that uses state-of-the-art automated technology.
