00:00We were the first local authority in the South East to have a planned inspection.
00:04We had already started working on where, analysing ourselves, working to see
00:13where we might need improvements. So when the inspection came the regulators did
00:17actually recognise that we were aware of our situation and there are a lot
00:22there are a lot of positives to take from this. It's only the second highest
00:25level it's not it's not the worst so we're pleased with it.
00:28Okay so C1 next time around that's what you're aiming for the highest grade
00:32possible. How's Medway Council going to get there?
00:34Well we're increasing the number of stock condition surveys that we're
00:38carrying out. By the end of the year that will have significantly increased and
00:42with our decent home standards as we as we approach the new year some homes will
00:47fall out of that window. That's normal and that is across every authority and
00:53as planned works go ahead throughout the following year the number reduces
00:58again. So we are striving for the best quality standard of accommodation we can
01:03get for our tenants.
