00:30Ma'am, we would like to ask for details on the complaint filed by the PNP

00:33against Vice President Sara Duterte, her security chief, and two others.

00:38What are the complaints filed against them?

00:42That's right, Ma'am.

00:43Yesterday, the Philippine National Police filed three cases against the President of Quezon City Police District.

00:51These are grave coercion, direct assault, and disobedience to a person in authority

00:58against Vice President Sara Duterte and her chief security, Colonel Raymond LaChica,

01:06and several John Doe's and Jane Doe's.

01:09This is related to what happened last Saturday,

01:16where they were attacked, there were words and physical attacks against our police

01:23and the PNP decided to file a complaint against them before the City Prosecutor's Office of Quezon City.

01:32General, what are the reasons for filing these complaints?

01:37And does the police believe that the evidence in filing these complaints is strong?

01:45We believe, Ma'am Nina, that our evidence is strong

01:48because these videos that we have seen, they are spreading on social media,

01:55it is evident how they said that our police can hurt people.

02:01There was a chance, particularly Lieutenant Colonel Jason Villamor,

02:05that this is not an ordinary police, Ma'am Nina,

02:08this is a police doctor who was appointed to take care of the health and well-being of ASEC life.

02:17However, he was denied and one of the security of Vice President Sara Duterte even pushed him.

02:24We went through the process, we filed these cases,

02:28and we believe that there is evidence against them.

02:34Ma'am, following these events, what are the reminders of the PNP's leadership to our personnel?

02:41To our policemen, our PNP leadership believes and hopes that we are all professionals.

02:54We should remain a political and non-partisan in the political noises that we see.

03:05but we hope that our Filipino people will remain true to their national policy,

03:11to our Constitution and to the duly constituted authorities,

03:15and we will directly focus on our mandates.

03:21For now, are the PNP personnel assigned to him already there for the security group of the Vice President,

03:33On Tuesday, ma'am, we turned it over to the Vice Presidential Security Protection Division under the VPSPG.

03:42The 25 PNP personnel that we sent from the PSBG,

03:47as a response to the request of the Armed Forces of the Philippines,

03:51we will add complements to the VPSPG.

03:55On Tuesday, they already reported, ma'am.

03:58So ma'am, VP Sara also said that she will file a complaint of robbery, kidnapping, and disobedience against the PNP.

04:23We believe that the actions of our police last Saturday,

04:43In another discussion, General Fajardo,

04:46what is the role of the PNP in the gathering of some Duterte supporters in Edsa Shrine?

04:55We will continue to monitor this, ma'am.

04:57And we will put our police there to maintain peace and order in the area,

05:01and to make sure that their gathering will not be a hindrance to the path of therapy.

05:09provided that they do not violate any law.

05:12They have the right to express their feelings.

05:15But this is not an absolute right,

05:18and the presence of the PNP there is limited to the maintenance of peace and order.

06:41But we will not just believe the news that your PNP and the Armed Forces of the Philippines

06:50are being instigated to move.

06:53We will not do that because we are faithful to our Church duties.

06:58We will be vigilant.

07:00But we will not listen to the voices of people who have personal interests.
