01:13Based on the NBI's statement, Vice President Sara Duterte explained

01:19for the possible claim of grave threats and violation of the Anti-Terror Law,

01:24a law signed by her own father, former President Rodrigo Duterte, only in 2020.

01:30Aside from VP Sara, other members of the court will also be called to make her video.

01:34If VP Sara does not appear, the NBI will still continue the claim.

01:39In the DOJ, Duterte will be allowed to speak without being charged because she has not yet read it.

01:45But she was taken out of context when she said that this will only happen if she is killed.

01:58Common sense should be enough for us to understand and accept

02:02that a supposed conditional act of revenge does not constitute to an active threat.

02:14The Supreme Court also asked if it will do anything about the statements of VP Sara.

02:19Under the rules of court, aside from filing a disbarment complaint to the Supreme Court

02:24or the Integrated Bar of the Philippines,

02:26the Supreme Court can also use its own motto or its own action to judge the actions of a lawyer.

02:32It's always possible that the Supreme Court can take cognizance of anything that's publicly known.

02:37But usually, it's usually by a complaint.

02:41So we'll wait and see what the court has or what the court will do with it.

02:44But the court said that they have already received an anonymous complaint regarding the statement of the vice president last October

02:50because of former President Ferdinand Marcos.

03:04which was filed by the Davao City Mayor in 2011.

03:14VP Sara filed a public apology almost a year after the incident.
