जगद्गुरु कृपालु जी महाराज का जन्म 06 अक्टूबर 1922 को शरद पूर्णिमा की मध्यरात्रि में प्रतापगढ़ जिले के मनगढ़ में हुआ था. इनका पूरा नाम राम कृपालु त्रिपाठी था. इनके माता-पिता का नाम भगवती देवी और ललिता प्रसाद था.कृपाजी जी महाराज ने हाई स्कूल से 7वीं तक की परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण की और इसके बाद आगे की पढ़ाई के लिए मध्य प्रदेश चले गए. मात्र 14 वर्ष की आयु में इन्होंने तृप्त ज्ञान को प्राप्त कर लिया.

Jagadguru Kripalu Ji Maharaj was born on 06 October 1922 at midnight of Sharad Purnima in Mangarh of Pratapgarh district. His full name was Ram Kripalu Tripathi.His parents' names were Bhagwati Devi and Lalita Prasad. Kripaji Maharaj passed high school till 7th class examination and after that went to Madhya Pradesh for further studies. At the age of just 14, he attained complete knowledge.
