00:09Let's start with this hot news, what is the DOJ's response to Vice President Sara Duterte's threats

00:18against President Marcos Jr., First Lady Liza Marcos, and House Speaker Martin Romualdez, Youssef.

00:29The people of the National Bureau of Investigation have arrived at the Office of the Vice President

00:34to serve as a subpoena for Vice President Sara Duterte

00:38in connection with her assassination threat against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.,

00:43First Lady Liza Reneta Marcos, and House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

00:48The NBI called on VP Sara to explain to the alleged extremists.

00:56This is part of a wide-ranging investigation conducted by the DOJ under the leadership of the NBI.

01:02First, the DOJ said that it sees this as a serious threat to the lives of the country's leading leaders.

01:10That is why it ordered the NBI to investigate and pursue the suspects who led VP Sara's conspiracy.

01:17According to Undersecretary Jesse Andres,

01:20VP Sara's statement is not a joke, so it needs to be investigated thoroughly.

01:25The DOJ ordered the NBI to use all available resources

01:30to investigate the possible suspects in VP Sara's assassination plot.

01:36The DOJ also agreed with social media platforms

01:40to hide a copy of VP Sara's Facebook Live video

01:44where she said that her threat against the President is not a joke.

01:49Vice President, First Lady, and House Speaker.

01:52Prosecutor General Richard Fadulyon assured that

01:56VP Sara will still give a due process and a chance to defend herself.

02:17and grave threats because of her threats.

03:54and will last from November 25 to December 12.

03:58The aim of the campaign is to spread awareness

04:10November 25 is declared every year as National Consciousness Day

04:15for the Elimination of VAW,

04:17an opportunity for government and society agencies

04:21to work together against violence against women.
