00:00Let's get an update for the first day of the Presidential Expo 2024.

00:05It's being held at PICC in Pasay City.

00:13Dianne, this Tuesday is the 3rd day of the Presidential Expo 2024.

00:19It's attended by 100 former exhibitors,

00:22where you can see the best, biggest, and more models for the public.

00:32President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. is the host of the program

00:36for a food-secure country under a prosperous new Philippines

00:41where every Filipino family has food on their table.

00:45And our farmers and fishermen earn a lot of money.

00:49It's being held at PICC in Pasay City.

00:54It's attended by 100 former exhibitors,

00:57where you can see the best, biggest, and more models

01:01for the public.

01:03There are food hubs, centers, stores, model trucks, carts, and the KADIWA app.

01:08All of these are designed to make it faster and efficient

01:12to bring fresh rice from the farm to the market.

01:16There will also be a live cooking demo in the KADIWA kitchen.

01:20You can also buy cheaper rice such as P29 for rice and rice for all.

01:26Agricultural products are usually 20% cheaper

01:30in all KADIWA stores compared to the markets.

01:34At present, there are more than 100 KADIWA stores that operate.

01:37Most are located in Luzon.

01:39The Department of Agriculture aims to expand it

01:43to 300 KADIWA stores by 2025

01:46and up to 1,000 before the administration of President Marcos Jr. in 2028.

01:53The KADIWA of the President is run by the DA

01:56in cooperation with the Department of Labor and Employment,

02:00Department of Interior and Local Government,

02:03Department of Social Welfare and Development,

02:05Presidential Communications Office, and Presidential Management Staff.

02:09Dayan, KADIWA of Pagulo Expo 2024 is open from today until Wednesday.

02:16Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin,

02:21Agriculture Secretary Francisco Chu Laurel Jr.,

02:25and other officials of the government are expected to attend.
