00:00Quit smoking yaar!
00:01Yahaan jo aata hai, wo dekhne nahi, dhumra paan chhod kar yahi dafna kar jaata hai.
00:11Usually the most common problem that smokers would face would be bad odour.
00:15My first tip is basics but very very important is to brush twice a day, floss once a day.
00:22All the hidden spaces in your mouth also need to be cleaned.
00:25There's a lot of different types of bacteria in your mouth
00:29which would lead to bad odour and tartar extra formation.
00:33I don't want any of the smokers to use a normal brush.
00:36It is always better to shift to an electronic toothbrush, a power operated toothbrush.
00:42These toothbrushes are way better at maintaining oral hygiene especially for smokers.
00:48They have a smaller head so it has the capability to reach
00:51the corners of your mouth to clean well you know.
00:54Smokers have a more dangerous effect on your gums than your teeth.
00:59So your gums to the teeth are the foundation to your teeth.
01:03If your gums are weak you could have beautiful teeth but it's of no use
01:07because they'll fall off if your gums are eventually weak.
01:10Correct?
01:11Flossing helps you clean the spaces in between your teeth.
01:14These spaces in between your teeth are the exact spaces where there is hidden bacteria,
01:19hidden plaque, hidden tartar which is eventually also affecting your gums.
01:28Start your day with oil cooling.
01:30The minute you get up in the morning, swish your mouth with virgin coconut oil.
01:34Two spoons of coconut oil.
01:36Just swish your mouth with it.
01:37Keep gargling with it at least for three to four minutes.
01:40And once you're done gargling with it, spit it out.
01:43When you get up in the morning, you've got a lot of concentration of toxins in your mouth.
01:48Virgin coconut oil and pooling that oil in your mouth
01:52has the power to pull out all these toxins and throw it off.
01:56Correct?
01:56It has a superb effect on gums.
01:59It is really helpful in keeping your teeth white also.
02:06In normal people who don't smoke, if your gums are weak, they bleed.
02:09But in smokers, if your gums are weak, it causes no bleeding.
02:15So it creates a false impression that your gums are okay.
02:19But without even bleeding, it goes on receding.
02:23Your gums keep on going down.
02:24Every six months, just go to a dentist.
02:26Get your teeth cleaned.
02:28Very, very, very important to take a scrape your tongue.
02:31Otherwise, you're never going to be able to, you know, have a fresh breath.
02:36Lastly, please use a mouthwash.
02:38For smokers, it's a must.
02:44Smoking has a very high incidence of oral cancer.
02:48Now, oral cancer will usually start with just a lesion,
02:51like red spots in your mouth or some black spots in your mouth
02:54or a white ulcer in your mouth that is not healing
02:57or like a bump or a small swelling on your lip that doesn't heal for six to eight months.
03:02Only a dentist will be able to tell you if it is or it is not.
03:05If you see people who smoke concentrated forms of tobacco,
03:09the percentage is almost 20 to 25 times more, 20 times more.
03:14Like you are putting yourself at a way higher risk of cancer if you smoke regularly.
03:23Quit smoking, yeah.
03:24It is always better to replace a bad habit with a good habit than to quit one.
03:28When you want to quit smoking, use a Nicotex Tringum.
03:32Let's say if you're smoking four times a day.
03:35So you'll start with four Tringums a day.
03:38Then go down to three, then go down to two, then go down to one.
03:42Be on that one Tringum for minimum six months and then completely stop.
03:49It takes minimum three to four years to come back to your gum health once you quit smoking.
