00:00I'm so young but it's really really sweet and I feel like you can kind of see a little
00:10bit of the stuff that I that I still like now you know just something that feels really
00:15real and something that feels very yeah just like vulnerable you know it's also very different
00:21for what I actually do now. Totally, totally.
00:33I got really really lucky because so I came out actually before before I started releasing
00:40music like professionally and I remember being very very nervous but but it was like immediate
00:46you know so much love and support so I was really like self-conscious and I was like
00:5220 and figuring out what you know who I was and what I wanted and I'm still am but but
00:58just in a you know in kind of like different in a different way I feel much more free now.
01:09People have been singing about sex in pop music for a really long time and so I was
01:14just doing that as well. I think I started having more fun you know as a 27 year old
01:21than I had ever had as like an 18 year old. I don't know why I think maybe just like you
01:28know I think a lot of it as well was sort of a forced break from from working because
01:34I've just been working since I was a kid basically and so you know having time to just sit in
01:42Australia and be you know running around with my friends and whatever that that was
01:50really important I think in hindsight and I learned a lot from that experience. Like
01:56falling in love with yourself and being okay being by yourself and and also kind of celebrating
02:02that you know. I think it's really just growing up you know it's like learning about yourself
02:07learning about other people learning about relationships learning about friendship. I've
02:11been like allowing myself to do things that I probably wouldn't have before like I was
02:15always really terrified of dancing and choreography and everything like that.
02:29I just was having a really really really good time in life and and had a lot of time in
02:36between COVID lockdowns where I was just kind of like at home in Australia feeling
02:41very very empowered and free and loving my friends and loving community and and loving
02:47you know going out and and I just wanted to kind of capture that same euphoria that I
02:52was feeling in the music and in the video.
