00:00Were the final 15 a bit frustrating? Because at 1-1 you'd love to be pushing and pushing for a winner, but it was just a bit flat, wasn't it?
00:05Yeah, we just couldn't get everything in front. Like I said, if you've seen Derby play, that's it, that's what they do well.
00:11I've got back to that Borough game when they kept Borough out on 1-1-0. Borough had created a lot more than us, but they were just so strong and put their bodies on the line.
00:20They did it again and I think our subs would have been better if they'd been up speed. If Milly had still been playing up to this point, if Keno, that's not his first minutes after being out for such a long period of time.
00:31But we have to get him minutes, we have to get him on the pitch. I think if one dropped to Milly that they defended really well and got blocked, or if I had a fancy of Keno, if it had dropped to him.
00:41Yeah, but we couldn't force that one chance that we needed.
00:46The midfield three you started with, did you want to match their kind of aggression because there was loads of bite with Ali and Ledsdon? I think it's the first time you might have done those three.
00:55I think it is the first time, yeah. Listen, Leddo did well when he came on.
01:00Yeah, well, it was to get a bit of control of the game, like the first half was. Sam didn't play up against their centre-backs, played as a spare player as well.
01:09So, just rather than them, the great going man for man and, like I said, how they defend against you, just stop them doing that.
01:17We thought they might play 4-2-3-1, they played 5-3-2, but we knew with that system either way we could still have that extra body in there, which we had.
01:27But what it took away from then, when we did get in behind them, like Emile won a couple of good races in the Channel, when we play wide and get the oval wide to then deliver, we weren't getting that extra body in the box.
01:39So, yeah, 6-2-3, it worked how we knew it would work, but we didn't get that extra body out of the pitch, so that's why we made the change.
01:48Was it the type of game where a bit of quality from maybe 20 yards, someone flies one in because there's nothing happening, was it? Either end really?
01:54No, no. Listen, I'm talking about how frustrated I was with their goal, but again, when your keeper's not had a save to make, it shows that the team stood strong, defended well, dealt with their threats.
02:09So, yeah, probably defence on top is the best way to describe that, what you're saying, but sometimes you just get that one moment where even if it's a bit of good fortune that drops you away and then you get a goal from it, and it did need that second goal, it would have changed it either way.
02:23You've been asked about the wingers a lot and it might be annoying to repeat yourself, but did they just not fit into the system you were playing on the pitch, you know, Jeppe and Josh today?
02:31No, to play the wing-backs, but I think me and you spoke about previous, how we started early on in the season with sort of defenders of 4-4-2, but then when we get the ball, we still look the same.
02:43If a winger comes on and plays high and a wing-back on the other side is providing the chances, but when we were doing that, we weren't getting results and we changed back to this and our wing-backs came, particularly when we had Kane and Robby, Robby was producing on one side, Kane on the other, and all of a sudden we had one player on either side being productive at one end of the pitch and still defending strong at the other, so yeah, that's why we went back to this shape.
