00:00And at this point, we will discuss an update regarding the programs of the current administration here in Mr. President on the Go.
00:23First of all, fellow countrymen, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. visited the province of Cataduanes so that he could personally see the situation of our countrymen who were victims of the Tepito earthquake and the extent of the damage it caused to the province.
00:40Our President conducted an aerial inspection together with several members of his Cabinet and saw the destroyed structures that he considered as if they were covered with fruit
00:52because the roofs were destroyed while the houses made of live materials were played by strong winds.
00:59Although the Tepito earthquake is out of the country, our President assured that the government will continue to provide assistance to those affected by the next earthquake.
01:11Aside from this, the government will continue to provide assistance to our countrymen whose homes were completely destroyed.
01:19Together with the President of Cataduanes, Governor Joseph Kuat, they informed the needs of the affected areas.
01:27The President gave Php 50 million to the government of Cataduanes to be used for their recovery, the victims of the Tepito earthquake.
01:36The President also distributed relief goods and food packs that will last for up to three days.
01:41And those who have not yet been able to leave the evacuation centers will continue to be assisted by the government.
01:47The government will not neglect the families who are still connected to their relatives or friends.
01:53The coordination of telecommunications for free telephone and internet is also a priority.
01:58The government will also make an effort to restore the supply of electricity.
