00:00I've decided to launch the Entrepreneurs' Shadow Government to first and foremost work with
00:06politicians and government to solve problems. I want to bring together the best business minds
00:13in the UK and I'm establishing a board of top entrepreneurs alongside creating an organisation
00:24that will have many, many members underneath its banner that will allow us to support government,
00:32have a voice within government and make sure that we are holding government accountable
00:37to the decisions that they are making. I think the UK needs to be run like a business. I think
00:42countries being run like countries is wrong. I think they need to be run like businesses.
00:47You know, billions of people, hundreds and hundreds of billions in taxes,
00:54you know, economies, jobs, it's all business stuff.
00:59Who would you like to see on your board?
01:04Okay, great question. Elon Musk is taken so you can't have him.
01:09Yeah, well, I would actually like to see Elon Musk. I mean, he's on X making so many statements
01:18about the UK right now and I wonder why. I think he's making a play and maybe that's what his next
01:24movie is going to be but he's talking a good question, you shumbled me there.
01:27No room for your old partner, Lord Sugar?
01:30Well, he was going to be the go to. I think it would be great to get a name like Lord Sugar to
01:41back him, obviously with his position in the UK and, you know, being the host of the most famous
01:48business show in the UK. I think it would be great to get him to support it and get behind it.
01:55It would be good to see people like Peter Jones and Deborah Mead and maybe even a Stephen Bartlett
02:01to be able to support because they've got their personal brands and they've got the business
02:07acumen and the influence to be able to support it to get off the ground. But I don't just want it
02:14to be a organization that's championed by celebrity entrepreneurs. I want every small
02:21business and entrepreneur out there to be able to become a member and to be able to have their say
02:27and then so we can take the the overall mindset of the organization government and say this is
02:38what we want to see happening. How are you going to get interest though or
02:42partnership with politicians, with elected politicians?
02:46Well, I mean, I put a post out on LinkedIn three days ago and it's now had 7.5 million impressions.
02:57It's had 5,000 comments and 50,000 likes. So the post has gone viral and it's really struck a chord
03:09with entrepreneurs and business people. I could speak for itself. It's made enough of an impact
03:15that we will start to get signups off the back of that attention. This is a not-for-profit
03:22organization as well, which I think is important to note. This is not a business. I'm not doing this
03:26to financially gain. I'm doing this because I'm passionate about our country. I'm passionate about
03:33solving problems. I genuinely think I can help. I think there are many entrepreneurs that do want
03:40to help as well. We are good at what we do and so the government needs to utilize us. I don't
03:45think they should take all of these challenges on by themselves.

05:14a lot about the UK and the UK government right now. He's really not getting on
05:18with the UK government. So maybe Elon Musk. Who do we have that I would like to see?
