Multi-lined rapid beverage test demonstration

00:00Okay so take out the um the assay or the cassette from the pouch which comes with a pipette

00:09and the extraction buffer tube with the dropper cap.

00:18You can see here if the glass has been tipped out by the perpetrator

00:22there's enough sediment in there to get two drops of the beverage.

00:30Add that to the extraction tube

00:36add the dropper cap just swirl it around several times

00:42and we need to add three drops to each of the two wells. The first well is for GHB

00:51what we're looking for here is a discoloration from neutral to purple on the GHB

00:58and the second panel is for ketamine and benzodiazepines. We add three drops to that well

01:10what we're looking for here is foremost a control line.

01:17If the control line doesn't appear the test is not fit for purpose and we're looking for

01:25two lines for a negative. If we have one line we have a positive

01:30subject to which line's missing for benzodiazepines or ketamine.
