00:00You go into it knowing that people have high expectations, knowing that people really care about it a lot and you want to do right by the people who have seen it 126, 124 times, it's really important, like that's, it's really important because you're going to want to watch this time and time again.
00:13But I think that pretty early on it became clear to me that John was one of those people who cared in the same way. Ari and Cynthia are people who care in the same way and everyone in the cast is.
00:23And so we tried to make the thing that would be true to the thing that everyone loves about Wicked and also do something that only film could. And I don't know, I feel really proud to be a part of it.
00:34I'm not overstating it when I say at the time it felt like a privilege. It really did. I was like, this is, there's only a couple hundred people because it takes a lot of people to make a movie.
00:45But a select few of us got to see this and it was really special. But I gotta say, you sometimes worry that the magic won't transcend through the screen, but it does.
00:56And I think that it feels like you're getting that live, like the thing that's so exciting about watching, I don't know, Jessica Vosk sing The Wizard and I is that you're live and like that tension is there, it's in the room with you.
01:07And I think because of how amazing Ariana and Cynthia are at performing, they're incredible actors and unbelievable singers and they did it all live. And I think that that sort of tension that you feel in a live theater, it comes through.
01:20Oh, let's see. Well, depends on from where. I would go... How's that? I think knocking into you actually was exactly correct.
01:29It was very Glenda, I'm not gonna lie.
01:30I think so, right?
01:31It was extraordinary.
01:32Thank you for being there. I appreciate it.
