00:00The updated outlook, Joe, you've said this now a few times. The Eagles are a true NFC contender.
00:09They were minus 240 to win the division entering last night. Home favorite in the first meeting
00:15between these two. Nobody else in the division, not the Cowboys, certainly not the Giants,
00:21going to make any noise in terms of that title race. After a huge victory last night,
00:26minus 550 for the Eagles in the NFC East. These two teams will meet once again,
00:34third to final Sunday of the year, week number 16 in Landover. That spread probably going to be
00:41around three, if not a little bit less, but maybe in favor of the Eagles. Joe,
00:46when you look at the NFC East and you see that large number in favor of Philadelphia,
00:51in your mind, has the NFC East divisional race already been wrapped up?
00:56Well, it's kind of funny, Ben, because by the time they get the second go at them, right,
01:00it already could be wrapped up for the Eagles. So the reality is the Eagles kind of are in the
01:09driver's seat and control their own destiny. And at that price and four to one to win the NFC,
01:16and at just under 10 to one to win it all, Ben, those numbers are only going to get worse from
01:21this point on as they rattle off wins here. And the minute they clinched the NFC East,
01:27maybe even have an opportunity at home field throughout, which would be huge.
01:31And one final thing also on Saquon for the MVP. He's the first player to have four 140 plus yard
01:38rushing games in the first 10 games since Sean Alexander did it in 2005. And guess what Sean
01:46Alexander won in 2005, the MVP. That he certainly did. And Joe, for a large portion of this year,
01:56no quarterback was really running away with it. And Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes,
02:00of course, have the voter fatigue we shall see in these final seven weeks of the NFL season.
02:07Detroit, by the way, still the favorite in the NFC at plus 195, but the Eagles,
02:12the second best place well in front of the 49ers now by a dollar and a half. In fact,
02:18it is the Eagles at a plus nine 50 number. Now the fifth team at less than 10 to one
02:24to win a Lombardi trophy in new Orleans at Superbowl 59, Detroit still has the edge at
02:30minus two 10 to be the number one seed in the NFC home field advantage that opening round by
02:35could be crucial, but Philadelphia eight and two, just a half game behind Detroit right now,
02:41who is eight and one, but the Lions, a near two touchdown favorite at home against the Jags on
02:47Sunday.
