00:00The two TV moments with Lindsay and Jennifer Coolidge,
00:04how did those come about?
00:05It was hysterical.
00:07I don't know whose idea it was,
00:09but when I heard of the idea of referencing Lindsay
00:11and it looks like someone I went to high school with,
00:13I loved it.
00:14I was like, it's perfect.
00:15And I'm so happy this is all full circle.
00:17And it's so nice that we have Christmas movies together
00:19this year on Netflix.
00:20And we've known each other since we were little kids.
00:22So I'm just, we're both moms now.
00:25It's just, I'm so happy we're still on the journey together.
00:27Yeah, cute place to come back to.
00:29Yeah.
00:29And how did you get your body so shredded?
00:31What happened?
00:32You know, honestly, it was something where, like I said,
00:35like I got the script maybe like a couple of weeks
00:38before we started shooting.
00:39So really the preparation that I was doing
00:43was just all about, you know,
00:44thinking about movies like Elf, Splash,
00:49a big 13 going on 30,
00:52this movie called Clifford with Martin Short,
00:55which is very weird and funny.
00:57And just those kinds of things.
00:59And then also think about like Charlie Chaplin
01:01and Lester Keaton, like just anybody who was like
01:04really leaning into the physical comedy
01:05in any of their roles
01:07and sort of experiencing the world brand new
01:09for the first time.
01:10That was what I was focused on
01:11is just how can I emulate some of that
01:14and try to at least reach the heights
01:16that all those people have done before me.
01:18Yeah, you nailed it.
01:19It was really good.
01:20And it's such a funny movie, but it is so heartfelt.
01:24You know, just doing these heartfelt movies,
01:27like, is it just more fun or mean more to you?
01:30You know, it feels like it's just better energy.
01:34I feel like there has to be something
01:36in every movie I do that I relate
01:37and it hits my heart, you know?
01:39And it's like, what is the real arc for the character?
01:42Not to be like too deep about it,
01:44but you know, there always is an arc.
01:46And like, what is that?
01:46And for this character, Kathy,
01:48she's trying to overcome her grief,
01:49which is something that's so relatable.
01:51And unfortunately, you know,
01:52a situation that so many people will find themselves in.
01:54And I relate to it personally.
01:56And I think there's such so many beautiful messages
02:00in this and the way that it was written
02:02that I hope will bring some hope to people
02:05and inspire people during the holiday season.
