00:00Good to see everybody.
00:07Injury update for today.
00:09Jaquan Brisker will still be out for this week.
00:13He's still going through the concussion protocol there and working through with the trainers.
00:18We'll see where that goes in terms of week to week.
00:21Tevin Jenkins will be out today for practice.
00:24We'll see where that goes with the ankle.
00:26Timor is in concussion protocol, working through there.
00:29We'll see where that goes as well.
00:31And then Tez will be out with an ankle for practice today.
00:34But as you guys saw, we released Nate Davis today,
00:39and we just felt it was best for him and for the organization, for the team right now to do that.
00:45Jake Curhan moved to the active roster,
00:48but I thought it was best for the Bears and for our team at this point to move on from that.
00:54Shane as the play caller and then working into Thomas.
00:58Met with him yesterday and very excited about him being the play caller and the offensive coordinator,
01:04our leader of our offense going forward for the rest of the season,
01:08and brings passion, energy, tenacity, toughness, collaboration.
01:14You could certainly see that yesterday during the game planning phase of using all the minds and everybody there.
01:19I thought that was excellent to see with those guys working together to get to the best answers for our first
01:25and second down game plan and our third down working into it.
01:28To me, it's about what's happening right now.
01:32And again, obviously, when you're there, you're saying you're making a great decision there,
01:35and it's what's happening right now.
01:37You know, we have really struggled the last three weeks,
01:40and I just thought for the best thing right now for the Bears, for our football team,
01:45where we are in the season, was to make that adjustment.
