00:00Nora Lifshitz is a hero to many abandoned animals left by their owners in the wake of Hamas' attack.
00:06The animal rescuer rushed to the south mere days after the attack on southern Israel,
00:11saving dogs, cats, turkeys and many more.
00:14In the middle of the chaos, you know that no one takes care of the animals right now.
00:18You know that no one has the animals in their mind even because there is so much chaos.
00:25Hamas' attack left more than 1,400 people killed,
00:28shooting men, women and children and seizing at least 200 hostages.
00:34Lifshitz explains that even the soldiers started calling us
00:38and asking us to come and take dogs that ran away.
00:41The animals are suffering and no one has the time or the ability to help them.
00:45So this is our mission, this is our place in the world,
00:48to help those ones that no one cares about them in this situation.
00:51Being one of the first to arrive at the location, many animals needed the help and still do.
