00:00Now we switch it over to the AFC and the only unbeaten team left in the NFL, the perfection
00:08of the Kansas City Chiefs, 9-0, which will get tested this week against the Buffalo Bills
00:13who currently sit in the second seed in the AFC at an 8-2 record.
00:18Let's start up top right away, Chiefs, Bills, Steelers, and Texans if the season ended today
00:24as the division champions here.
00:26Any surprises in those two, and also, how much longer can Kansas City stay unbeaten?
00:31Is it a matter of hours?
00:32Is it a matter of days?
00:33Is it weeks here, Dubsy?
00:35Or does it ever come where the Chiefs just run the table?
00:38Nah, they're probably going to win five Super Bowls in a row.
00:42It's going to be the 72 Dolphins all again.
00:45Come on, Donnie, get out of here.
00:47The Kansas City Chiefs are getting set for their first loss of the season.
00:51It's coming against the Buffalo Bills who have absolutely owned them.
00:54Call them daddy in the regular season, if you will.
00:57And taking a look at the AFC, absolutely agree with the board here.
01:01You know, Chiefs, Bills, well, in terms of the odds, I should say that the Chiefs and
01:04the Bills stand out for me, but I do think there's been a considerable drop-off for the
01:09Steelers and the Texans if we're taking a look at the leaders of each division here.
01:13So it's the Chiefs up top, plus 185.
01:15Baltimore, scary out, but it's Lamar Jackson at those scary times, which concerns me.
01:21I like the Bills there and a nice little 4-1 number.
01:24But outside of that, I think a couple of these teams I'm not convinced on, Donnie.
01:28You know, the Chargers at 15-1, they could do something.
01:32Joey Burrows trying to do everything in his power to get the Bengals back in this thing.
01:36But a couple of outliers, and I do think there's a couple of other teams who are maybe on the
01:42inside who should be looking towards the outside.
01:45I think the Wheels could be getting set to come off the odd bus not too far away.
01:49Here's where I love to talk about the AFC, and it's perfect, Dubz.
01:52You were doing it on this Wednesday as compared to even a few weeks back.
01:55You are going to get the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills toe-to-toe this weekend.
01:59You know who else you're getting?
02:00The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens.
02:02So answer me this question.
02:03Still a long way to go even after this week.
02:06Will you start to change your opinion on who's the most dominant team in the AFC based on
02:11this weekend's games?
02:13Absolutely.
02:14You know, call them a referendum spot, if you will.
02:17This is going to be the measuring stick, the full test of what we're actually working
02:21with.
02:22And for a couple of the big contenders, show me a little something.
02:25I mean, for the Kansas City Chiefs, I'll be the first guy to put the hand up and say I've
02:29discounted them all season long saying they're not what their record is.
02:32But you are.
02:33You're undefeated for a very good reason, even if you continue to let these teams stick
02:37around long enough.
02:38I like what I've seen from the Buffalo Bills.
02:40I think Josh Allen is putting together an MVP-type season.
02:44I think that's going to be a fantastic spot.
02:46You look at the Baltimore Ravens at seven and three, Lamar Jackson, King Henry going
02:51against the Steelers, who know how to bring you down to their level and play a real gritty
02:56sort of hard line, you know, still-nose kind of football.
03:00And for Pittsburgh, I think this is the real test that we finally get to see as well, Donnie.
03:04They're on the flip side.
03:05For Danger Russ, who's now got his mojo back, I don't want to say the term aura.
03:10You know, I feel like that's a new term that's just getting thrown around far too lightly.
03:14But Danger Russ is playing with a bit of aura there, a quarterback for the Steelers.
03:18So I think this is a nice little testing spot for a lot of teams who are right in the thick
03:23of it as we push through the second half of the season.
03:27What a measuring stick Sunday we have.
03:28Like, I can't wait to watch those two games play out, because it can change the balance.
03:31Like, tell me the Chiefs.
03:32Like, last year, the Ups in the playoffs, no way I thought the Chiefs were going in
03:35the Buffalo and winning their playoff game.
03:37They did that.
03:38No way I thought the Chiefs were going into the AFC Championship game on the road against
03:41Baltimore and winning that game.
03:42They did that.
03:43No way I thought Kansas City was going into the Super Bowl and knocking off the more talented
03:47San Francisco 49ers.
03:49And they did that.
03:50So nothing will surprise me for Kansas City if they do go in the Buffalo this weekend
03:53and prove to a perfect 10-0.
03:55If we're looking at some of those wildcard teams currently standing right now, the Ravens
03:59as a wildcard team at 7-3.
04:00The Chargers, who I love, with Jim Harbaugh, 6-3.
04:04The Denver Broncos would be in if the season ended today.
04:07But let me ask you this question.
04:08On the horizon here, the Cincinnati Bengals sitting at 4-6, Teagans expected to be back.
04:14The chances for the Bengals to jump the Colts and the Broncos, it doesn't seem like that
04:18big of a task.
04:19Dead in the water, seemingly, just a few weeks ago, the Bengals.
04:22What's your prognosis for them and the chances they can actually do some damage in the playoffs
04:26if they make it in?
04:28They really needed that one last week going against the Baltimore Ravens.
04:32So to make matters a little worse, it doesn't get any easier coming out here to the West
04:37Coast to take on the Chargers, who I think are another team who's surging in the right
04:41direction.
04:42But, I mean, second part of the question, Tony, yes, the Bengals would absolutely scare
04:47the life out of a lot of these teams if they could somehow, you know, sneak their way into
04:51the playoffs.
04:52If they can get through the Chargers, it doesn't get much easier the week after that.
04:56They've got the Steelers on deck, then the Cowboys, but you cannot go against Joey Burrow.
05:01It doesn't matter what he's working with.
05:03If Tee Higgins comes back, fantastic.
05:05You've got Jamar Chase.
05:06The run game is there.
05:08Chase Brown has looked fantastic, and then he's got the big bad tight end in Mike Gusecki.
05:12There's just something about Joe Burrow having that dog in him and trying to do everything
05:17in his power to keep the Bengals' season alive.
05:20This is the test, Tony.
05:21I don't want to say the season is over if they cannot get the win here in Week 11 going
05:25against the Chargers, but that uphill battle, it gets a lot steeper if they cannot get the
05:30chocolates out here on the West Coast for Week 11.
05:35It's going to be tough.
05:36It's going to be tough.
05:37It's going to be tough.
