00:00Welcome to Kimber Brewery here in the South Staffordshire countryside. They have been
00:04around for 20 years brewing some very high-quality beer. This is Dave Kelly, he
00:08is the head honcho here, he's the manager, he's the quality brewer, he goes
00:13around quality controlling the beers. Best part of the job that, yeah. I know, it's a tough job but
00:16someone's got to do it. And so Dave, just tell us about 20 years of this place, what
00:20does it mean to you? Well it's taken over my life basically, it's, you know, it
00:25started off as a home brewer and then it's developed into this now, 20 years
00:29of commercial brewing and yeah, I mean, I love beer and I love making it and
00:34drinking it, so yeah, it means a lot. And what started out as a hobby has become a
00:38full-time thing? It has, yeah, exactly. It's got a bit bigger than what I was hoping for but there you go.
00:45And for people who maybe don't know, tell us about your favourite beers from here.
00:49My favourite beers from here? I only brew beers that I like to drink myself, so I
00:54like all of them to be honest. I mean, it's like having children, you can't
00:57choose a favourite. I know, you're asking about your favourite children still. But yeah, I like a beer that we do called Noble, which we use
01:05citra hops and it gives it a real citrusy, great fruity flavour, but we
01:10only use four ingredients, we don't put any additives in. And another one is Over
01:15the Edge, which is our strong winter ale, 7.5, which has won many awards to be
01:22honest and I like that one, but you can't drink too many of them. That's a
01:26winning endorsement from the head brewer here. This is Kimber Brewery, support your
01:29local breweries.
