A great-gran who became the oldest woman in the UK to get a tattoo decided to go under the needle again and now sports three inkings - at the age of 99.
Hilda West first got the tattooed initials of her late husband Ernest and son David on her wrist back in 2019, aged 94.
Since then, she has added a three inch butterfly to her upper arm also in memory of her husband and now plans to get another to mark her 100th birthday next February.

00:00What is it that you've got done there, on your right shoulder?
00:03Butterfly.
00:04Butterfly.
00:05How many tattoos is that for you now?
00:08That's three.
00:10I was thinking of a fourth.
00:13But I'm getting a bit too old.
00:16And my skin's getting a bit too...
00:19...puckered.
00:22Why did you choose a butterfly?
00:26Because I like butterflies.
00:28I thought it'd be nice.
00:30It is nice and I'm very pleased with it.
00:35Because I can see now how he's got it in 3D.
00:42It's very good.
00:44What's everyone in the care home thought of your tattoo?
00:48Nobody else.
00:49Well, not to my knowledge, I've had a tattoo.
00:55I didn't do it because of anyone.
00:59But I did it because it was on my bucket list.
01:05And I knew my daughter was against it.
01:09Because she doesn't like...
01:12...pricks and all sorts.
01:17So I thought, I'd do it when she's away.
01:22I did it because I knew she couldn't take it off.
01:26So I did it.
01:27What was your daughter's reaction to you getting a tattoo?
01:31Not very good.
01:33What?
01:36Are you alright? Did they make you?
01:39No, they didn't make me. I offered. I wanted it done.
01:43What was their reaction to you coming in and saying, I want a tattoo?
01:46Oh, he was delighted because he'd never had anyone old.
01:51He said, oh, he's had older people.
01:55He wasn't at all surprised.
01:58He said, I shan't hurt you.
02:01So I said, well, it doesn't matter. I can stand pain.
02:04I can. I'm lucky that way.
02:07So I didn't feel a thing. I really didn't.
02:11And you're turning 100 in February.
02:14Do you think you would get a tattoo to celebrate that?
02:18I...
02:22I wouldn't mind.
02:25I wouldn't mind.
02:28See how much money I've got.
02:30I'm seriously thinking of having my husband.
02:36If they can do it, but I don't think they can.
02:40I don't know.
02:41He might be able to.
02:44But I'd like one of my husbands.
02:48Just finally, what would your advice be to anyone who hasn't got a tattoo?
02:56I would think if you'd wanted one for a long time,
03:00you should go out there and have it done as soon as possible.
03:06Because for some reason you feel complete
03:11and you've definitely got something that you wanted.
03:19Especially if it's your husband and each one.
03:23I feel I've got him all the time.
