00:00I want to talk to him about this Todd Golden story that you ran.
00:09Listen, it's disturbing, right?
00:12Like I didn't know, like the more I read it, I was like, what is going on here?
00:17Am I to believe that this guy was harassing, allegedly, like co-eds, like college students?
00:24Well, we don't know for sure, but we know that there's been a Title IX complaint filed
00:29against him, and what is compelling to me, Scott, is that this is not a he said, she
00:35said situation.
00:36At that point, you really kind of have to let the whole process play out before making
00:42any judgment at all, but there are multiple complainants here, and that's one of the reasons
00:47why it's surprising that the University of Florida has allowed him to continue coaching.
00:53And remember, this isn't just about he coached against Grambling State on Monday night.
00:58This Title IX complaint was filed basically in advance of even practice beginning, and
01:05they've continued to allow him to coach the team.
01:08So either they know something that no one else knows, or they're just going to play
01:14it by the numbers until they have a ruling that would be negative to Golden.
01:20If they get a ruling that would be negative to Golden, they're going to continue in this
01:25direction.
01:27There supposedly is photographic evidence.
01:30I think that would be something that would be compelling as well.
01:35So whether any of it's true, we can't know until this plays out.
01:40But the fact that there were multiple complainants is certainly something that turned my head.
01:44Mike, I mean, there's I read your story.
01:47It was so disturbing.
01:49This guy's taking photos of himself naked, allegedly, and sending it to women, allegedly.
01:55And then the stalking allegations of him driving around taking pictures of people where
02:02they are and sending those said pictures to those individuals, kind of creeping them out
02:07that I know where you are, and here I am taking photos of you and sending them to them.
02:13That stuff's crazy.
02:16It is a very strange situation for sure.
02:20I don't know what the University of Florida sees here, that they're not at least interrupting
02:27the season relative to Todd Golden, but there's something that they're that they're standing
02:34behind him and allowing him to coach.
02:36So it's hard to say.
02:38But as I said, if this were one person who who alleged these things, and we've seen similar
02:45to this when one person alleged, and it's a lot of those circumstances that the allegations
02:50proved habitual.
02:52But this is this is multiple people.
02:56And to me, that's what that's what one of the reasons why I'm surprised he's continuing
03:00to coach.
03:01Not that he would continue to coach in the future.
03:04But with multiple complaints, I would have thought Florida said, hold on a second here.
03:08We need to we really need to look at this.
03:10But certainly the Title Nine office is looking at it.
03:14But the athletic department is allowing Todd Golden to continue coaching.
03:19Coached last night.
03:20I'm sure he'll be there the next time the Gators take the court.
03:25Because these processes, they don't they don't take a few days or even a month.
03:29They certainly take time.
03:30And so as long as Florida is saying, OK, then he'll be out there.
