We ask Londoners what they think local councils can improve on.

00:00Oh, a lot of things actually. More investment in the town centre, which is really run down
00:08and there's quite a bit of crime, so like community wardens, yeah.
00:13I mean, we do okay, actually. I think, I mean, last week they forgot to take one of our bins.
00:18We contacted them and they came back a couple of days later. I think we do okay. I mean,
00:22some councils are more broke than others and I think some people, some residents have more
00:26problems than others, but touch wood, we're doing all right, I think. Having said that,
00:31something terrible will happen tomorrow and I'll be cursing you on the way home.
00:35Councils have been stripped back financially for so long and everything, you know, the
00:42government have no problem saying we're going to give ourselves a 20% rise and the councillors
00:50say we don't mind giving ourselves a rise. But when it comes to looking after the people,
00:55I think that there's a lot of diversity between the two.
