00:00Sabah Chief Minister Hajiji Noor says he has nothing to hide in the alleged case of
00:06assemblymen from the state discussing bribes for a project license. Hajiji said the Gabugan
00:12Rakyat Sabah-led state government will assist in the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission's
00:17investigation, Harian Metro reported. He said MACC should also investigate those offering bribes
00:24as they have malicious intentions to obtain something from the government.
00:28He added that the Sabah government is in a good state and that the audio clip was just an
00:33accusation. Previously, it was reported that senior MACC officers met a lawyer over the alleged case
00:40who played a 17-second audio clip in which several people were heard having a conversation
00:45about money. MACC Chief Commissioner Azam Baki said the lawyer wanted an agreement that his
00:51client would not come under investigation, but officers disagreed as it was not in line
00:56with procedure. The individual later wrote to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim seeking protection
01:01before submitting a report to the MACC. According to Malaysia Kini, he claimed eight
