00:00So we think that the future is, it's not that far away. It's right now.
00:03And AI really helps to power a lot of these experiences.
00:12John, it is wonderful to have you on Floor Talk here at NYSE International Day.
00:17It's wonderful to be here. Thanks for having me.
00:19So John, tell me, what is XReal's vision for the future of AR?
00:23If you think about today, we're all looking at our phones.
00:26Before that, it was really on your laptops and PCs.
00:30So it goes from compute to mobile compute to now what we're calling spatial compute.
00:35What that means is that, you know, what is it that you do on your phones every day?
00:38You look up stuff, you create stuff, you edit stuff, you watch, you consume stuff.
00:42And all of this stuff will now start to,
00:44instead of looking at a black rectangle on your hands, be all around you.
00:48You'll be able to interact with it.
00:49You'll be able to see the status of your smart devices
00:52without having to look at a device, without having to go through the interface.
00:55It'll just be all around you.
00:56So we think that the future is not that far away.
00:59It's right now.
01:00And AI really helps to power a lot of these experiences.
01:03Now, how are your customers using XReal's products?
01:06And have you received any feedback that stands out?
01:09So, I mean, our products are these augmented reality glasses,
01:12which really, you know, it's one thing to have a piece of hardware.
01:17Imagine the first time you bought your laptop or your iPad or whatever.
01:20They have no apps, no games, no content.
01:24It's kind of just a paperweight.
01:25So for us, it's really been about
01:27how do you become relevant to that consumer on day one?
01:30And what is it that they already are doing every day
01:33is watching movies, playing games, and so on and so forth.
01:38So first step is to basically plug in.
01:41Now you can see what we call wearable display,
01:43see your content, interact with it, immediately have relevancy.
01:46And then ultimately, it's then to start to bring in those experiences.
01:50We can now start to imagine I'm having a chat with you as a hologram, right?
01:54I can actually see instead of these screens around us,
01:58it's actually just stuff that's in the environment that's relevant to us.
02:01So that's kind of the step-by-step how we want to get there.
02:04Tell me, what are your main priorities for growing XReal in the United States?
02:08It's really about getting people to experience the glasses.
02:11First of all, to know that they exist.
02:13Companies like Meta recently came out with their Project Orion.
02:16It's wonderful for the whole industry
02:17because now they're educating the market saying that,
02:20hey, there are these things that are coming.
02:22The good thing for us is that we're already shipping.
02:24We're not two years away.
02:25We're also not $10,000 a piece.
02:27We are at $400, $500, something that consumers can afford.
02:32So our goal then is to...
02:34So we've already been selling direct to consumer
02:35through Amazon and our own e-commerce.
02:38But to get into people's hands for people to try,
02:40we're now actually just recently started to go into retail stores.
02:43So Micro Center will have our products in November,
02:46and we're looking to further expand that out.
02:48So whether it's eventually the targets of the world
02:50or just imagine anywhere you go to shop for electronics,
02:54you can actually go experience these things for yourselves
02:56and then hopefully make that purchase and start to jump into this world.
02:59All right. Well, John, sounds like very exciting times ahead.
03:02Thank you very much for joining me on Floor Talk today.
03:05Thank you for having me again. Thank you.
