00:00Well, it is 1-0 here to Rangers at Ibrox in a largely uninspiring game from
00:07Philippe Camond on his side. Decided by a very early goal from Cyril Desses who
00:11scored after just six minutes when it was some neat work to be fair from Yefde
00:16and Nedim Bajrami on the left-hand side. He spun the ball across that went
00:21across the face of goal and landed at the feet of James Tavenier who in
00:25trademark style ghosted in at the back post and his shot was then deflected in
00:30by Cyril Desses who has now scored his third goal in three games. It's a second
00:35win in a week for Rangers after the win against Motherwell last week.
00:38Unfortunately for Hearts the win leaves them just one point off the bottom. I
00:41think Hearts will be a little bit frustrated they couldn't get something
00:44from the game. Two chances for Kenneth Vargas, one from a really slack back
00:49pass from John Soutar. Could have perhaps done better but Butland's done
00:53really really well. Then just in the second half he played through clean on
00:57goal. He got the ball past Butland this time but it cannoned back off the post.
01:01Rangers fans not happy. A little bit of booing with the substitution of Conor
01:05Barron who I've got to be honest thought had a pretty tidy game and it was a
01:09surprising substitution and there's maybe other candidates that he'd like
01:13had taken off but at the moment Rangers just need three points. They just need
01:17to get the pressure on the top of the league. Keep them racking up. It would be
01:20nice to have a performance to go with it. That wasn't here today. Don't know
01:24necessarily whether it was there last week but it was during the week against
01:28Olympia Icross. So some green shoots of recovery potentially for Hearts. They'll
01:33have easier games. Maybe they'll be disappointed they didn't get a
01:36point from this but they have got games to come that they will feel
01:40are winnable. With Neil Critchley there has been definitely green shoots of
01:44recovery and they'll hope that they can put this one behind them pretty fast and
01:49finish the chances next time but that's full-time at Ibrox. It's Rangers 1
