00:00Full time here at a wet and rather windy Celtic Park where Celtic have beaten Hearts 2-0
00:05to continue their 100% start of the season. They're still yet to concede a goal and the Hearts
00:10struggle continues. When we're looking at the game itself it's one that's been largely dominated by
00:16VAR because first and foremost there was chances for Kyogo, chances for Maeda whereas Engels hit
00:22the post and then it was Hearts who looked like they'd been given an opportunity to open the
00:26score in when a penalty was awarded for a Liam Scales handball following Lovett Shuntland's
00:30header from a corner. However, the referee was called to the monitor and then ruled that out.
00:35The explanation actually will come out in time, Hearts not necessarily too happy about it,
00:39Celtic though of course delighted. The second period when it came down to that it was again
00:44very very dominant once again for Celtic but the deadlock was broken seven minutes into the second
00:49half when James Penrice was adjudged to have handled the ball. Referee didn't give the penalty
00:55originally but then he went to his VAR monitor once again and this time he did. Arnaud Engels
01:00stepped up from 12 yards out and made absolutely no mistake with a really cool side-footed shot.
01:05I thought he was excellent today, an 11 million pound player, he's still only 20. Huge amount of
01:10pressure for him to perform in many ways but he was fantastic and performed admirably. Celtic
01:16fans will be really pleased to see that from him today. Then after that it was largely more Celtic
01:21dominance without them able to get the second goal until the 89th when Luke McCowan, another
01:27new boy, curled in a great shot in off the post to seal the win. There was still time for a chance
01:32and a goal actually from Aramida but that one was just allowed by VARs that got involved once again
01:37but largely a straightforward win for Celtic today, a deserved win. The 100% record continues. Hearts
01:44a lot better than they have been in recent weeks but with no points to show for it.
01:47That's the Scotsman here at Celtic Park.
