00:00Do you think that if Vice President Harris would have went on the Joe Rogan podcast that
00:05she would have got other voters that she wouldn't already have had?
00:08Do you think that would have made any difference for her?
00:11Oh, 100% Courtney, because if you think about that audience, you're talking about millions,
00:15tens of millions of mostly men.
00:18And it was almost entirely going to be upside for Kamala Harris and the Democrats.
00:23I mean, those were not naturally going to be her voters.
00:27It's one reason why I even went public during that time and said, Kamala, you should really
00:31go on Joe Rogan.
00:33And if she'd gone on, I think Tim Walz would have done well.
00:36I think that they would have gotten votes.
00:39By the way, it was also a very bad look that they didn't go on because then there were
00:43at least some voters like, huh, what are they hiding?
00:46He's the number one podcaster, he's got the biggest audience.
00:49In my opinion, it was political malpractice for them not to go on Joe Rogan.
00:53And it sounds like you feel that going forward, every candidate should.
00:59If you're going to be a major party nominee, it should be in your wheelhouse.
01:04And if you can't do it, they should nominate someone else.
01:06I mean, Joe Rogan, like Bernie X years ago, imagining that people fall into these ideological
01:11buckets is I think one of the mistakes that Democrats make.
01:15And if you have folks in democratic circles that malign or antagonize you in this two
01:21party system, you end up migrating to the other side.
01:24And it's hard then to say, come on back after that relationship has been fractured.
01:32Do you think that Donald Trump will take Joe Rogan's advice and try and unite everyone?
01:37Or do you think he's just going to stick to what he's done in the past?
01:40I certainly hope so.
01:42But I'm dubious.
01:43I mean, it's one reason why I did not vote for Trump.
01:46I think he's 78 years old and is more likely to be revenge seeking and petty because that's
01:54been his pattern.
01:56And by the way, he's clearly telegraphed that that's going to be the M.O.
01:59He's like, I'm going to be a retribution.
02:01I'm going to get in there and it's time to get revenge on folks that had wronged him,
02:07which is the opposite of Joe Rogan's advice.
02:08I really hope he does take Rogan's advice because there are a lot of Americans who would
02:15vastly prefer that approach.
02:17And a lot of people who voted for Trump, in my opinion, are not hardcore Trumpers.
02:21They just wanted to have the economy of four years ago again.
