00:00Ken Chan and seven others are facing a case of syndicated estafa.

00:06Before he was arrested by the police in Ikalawang Tangka to serve a warrant of arrest.

00:16In the video given to the media by the lawyer of the complainant,

00:19the police went to this house in Quezon City to file a warrant of arrest against the actor, Ken Chan.

00:25This is related to the case of syndicated estafa that was filed against the actor and seven others in the original trial court of the QC.

00:32Atty. Noel Joseph Estrada did not mention that his client filed a complaint against the actor.

00:37But what he said is that he gave less than 14 million pesos as an investment in their business.

00:43According to Atty. Estrada, Ken Chan is the one who convinced the victim to invest.

00:49Chan promised 10% monthly interest.

00:53He is the one who actively solicited.

00:56He gave money to the complainant, to our client, and said that he will invest in the restaurant business.

01:02And he promised that he will give a big monthly interest income.

01:09It was closed, it was hidden, and the business was gone. That's why the case happened.

01:13The police were not able to serve the warrant of arrest.

01:16Did anyone receive the warrant?

01:18No, there was no one here in Mr. Ken Chan's house.

01:22This is the second time that the warrant of arrest was filed against Chan.

01:26But there was still no one in their house when this case was filed on September 23.

01:30The case of syndicated estafa with life imprisonment was unavailable.

01:35We are continuing our efforts to get the warrant of arrest from Chan.

01:38From this June, Chan took a break from his showbiz commitment.
