00:00The first Davao Adventure Challenge, a flagship program of the Department of Tourism, was held in Davao Region.

00:06The ultimate conqueror, an admin staff, was nominated.

00:10The details of the news of the country by Rudolf Ian Arama of the Philippine Information Agency, Davao Region.

00:17More than 800 adventurers participated in the first Davao Adventure Challenge,

00:22the flagship program of the Department of Tourism,

00:24which aims to promote adventure activities in various ecotourism destinations in Davao Region.

00:30One of them is the Philippine Information Agency 11 Administrative Officer, Marjorie Bustamante,

00:36who was nominated as the ultimate conqueror in the Davao Adventure Challenge.

00:39Marjorie was awarded 560 points in adventure activities to give her the title of DOT.

00:45According to Marjorie, her travel goals encouraged her to participate in the challenge.

00:50Last year, Tagtugonan Canyoneering and Mati Ultralight Plane Rides were on the bucket list.

00:56This year, they joined the Davao Adventure Challenge.

01:01That's what pushed me.

01:03And because of the Davao Adventure Challenge, Marjorie discovered a lot of beautiful sights and activities in the region.

01:10Tagtugonan Canyoneering, because as far as I know, only Cebu has Canyoneering.

01:16So we have Canyoneering here in Davao Region.

01:19At the same time, Okbot Cave is still in Kapalong, Davao, the North End.

01:23This one, the amazing Dalawang Falls of Maragusan.

01:29They are really enchanting.

01:31According to DOT 11 Regional Director, Tanya Rabatan,

01:34they want to continue and expand the program.

01:37Of course, we want this to continue.

01:41We will hopefully launch the 2025 Davao Adventure soon.

01:46But we're looking into enlisting more areas.
