00:00For people maybe who've got memory issues, those who are feeling isolated, it could be for people who may be on the spectrum.
00:08It's really for anybody who just needs a bit of help with their well-being.
00:11And it's using creative health, it's using music and gentleman's heart to help.
00:17And what we've managed to do today, the first day, is to bring a masterclass of 14 different creatives from across Yorkshire
00:23to learn about it, so that we can put this on in Wakefield ourselves we hope in the future.
00:29We've got a lot to learn, but it's great and I think it could do so much to lift people up and make them feel great.
00:39And tell me about Spectrum, what is it?
00:42Spectrum People is a charity based in Wakefield, we do an awful lot with green space,
00:47we have Apple Tree Community Garden which helps many people just by being there.
00:52We also use the arts in the widest sense, music, dance, drama, poetry, it could be anything like that.
01:00And those things just give people an activity, give them something to do and whilst they're doing it,
01:06they talk, they feel better about themselves, and it's called creative health.
