00:00Today there was a statement in which you were asked to file an FIR against Islamabad's IG.
00:08When and where are you going to do this?
00:12In Peshawar and Islamabad?
00:15Look, when on 5th October, during the PTI raid in Islamabad,
00:22the KP house was attacked and people were tortured.
00:27After that, the next day, a meeting of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly was called
00:32in which, on the grounds of this incident, a resolution was passed
00:36in which it was demanded that we take action on this incident.
00:39The day before yesterday, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's cabinet, the government cabinet,
00:45has decided that in this context, we will file an FIR against these crimes,
00:50against IG Islamabad and other responsible people.
00:56Now, this decision has been made.
00:58The application of this decision will be taken by the Advocate General.
01:03He himself will discuss this issue and will take the legal steps to file an FIR.
01:09Sir, please explain to us, is this a sign of an FIR
01:12that the province wants to officially record its protest?
01:16Or is this a practical situation in which the province will also take steps
01:19to arrest IG Islamabad?
01:22The meaning of filing an FIR is that you legally bring the machinery of law into motion
01:28and activate it.
01:30And after that, the next step is definitely arrest.
01:35And after that, the court proceedings take place.
01:37But let me tell you one thing,
01:39that in the past few days, a car was tried to be stopped in London.
01:44On which, an FIR has been filed against those people in Lahore.
01:49And some people who are accused, their relatives have been harassed here in Pakistan.
01:54The police have gone to their homes.
01:56And their relatives, who have nothing to do with this incident, this has happened.
02:00So, apart from that, do you remember Dr. Imran Farooq's murder in London?
02:04The FIR for his murder has also been filed in Pakistan.
02:06And people are being arrested and today, they are being punished in various jails.
02:10So, what I mean to say is that our governments,
02:13have used the FIR system as a political weapon.
02:18This has happened before as well.
02:20And we believe that the attack on our KP House,
02:23was done by the government under a planned scheme.
02:27That is why we decided to file an FIR.
02:30We believe that we have a right to the law.
02:32Because it is in force right now.
02:34And will you take any action to arrest them?
02:37Yes, of course.
02:39Obviously, the next step will be the same.
02:42If the IG is not present, then the arrest will be carried out.
02:46And if they refuse to be arrested, object, or avoid it,
02:50then the process of the law will surely be noticed.
02:54How will they be arrested?
02:55Will the KP Police go to Islamabad and try to arrest them?
02:59Look, you are presenting this in a different way.
03:02I am speaking from a legal point of view.
03:04When the FIR is filed against someone and it is not presented in front of the law,
03:07then the warrant will be issued.
03:09And if the warrant is not presented, then the person is declared guilty.
03:13So, you are saying that we will pursue that process.
03:15The Minister of Interest was also present in this case.
03:18Did you talk to him?
03:20Did you get your identity recorded?
03:22Obviously, it is government to government.
03:24So, did you try to solve it?
03:26Did you talk to Mohsin Naqvi?
03:28Did you talk to him about what happened?
03:30We did talk to Mohsin Naqvi.
03:32And apart from Mohsin Naqvi, we have also appealed to the courts.
03:35The relevant courts of Islamabad.
03:37Our requests are also pending.
03:40We have asked them to investigate this.
03:43Apart from that, we have also said that the bomb that exploded there was also damaged.
03:48And thirdly, the Minister's personal gun, his wallet, his telephone,
03:55they have also been confiscated.
03:56So, we have asked for everything.
03:58Mohsin Naqvi's answer was not satisfactory.
03:59That is why you went so far with the FIR.
04:01But we did not want a satisfactory answer.
04:03We wanted a solution.
04:04They did not take any action.
04:05There was no action from the government.
04:07We did not get anything back.
04:08And neither was our request for legal action fulfilled.
04:13So, what option do we have?
04:15According to you, they also got the permission of the Rangers, right?
04:18So, will they do something about that too?
04:20See, whether it is the Rangers or the police or the FC or any institution,
04:25that is a different thing.
04:28They were leading.
04:29The instructions were given.
04:30And the one who was leading was I.G. Islamabad himself.
04:33So, the person who is in front and whose instructions were followed,
04:36we believe that he should be held accountable before the court.
04:40So, we decided on his behalf.
04:42And along with that, the rest of the Rangers will also be included in the FIR.
04:47And the CM has repeatedly said on the floor of the house,
04:49I mean, he has repeatedly said that he apologised.
04:51Is this the option?
04:52That if there is still a backdoor issue, if there is an apology,
04:54then this chapter can be closed?
04:56Well, what will we ask for an apology now?
05:00The time of apology has already passed.
05:02If they had asked for an apology, they would have asked for it.
05:04Apologising is a far-fetched thing.
05:06Return our goods.
05:07Compensate us for the loss we have incurred.
05:10Even then, we will say that,
05:11okay, they have some remorse in their actions.
05:13But no, they are protesting.
05:16So, what other option do we have other than legal proceedings?
05:19The last question, sir.
05:20You also made a statement like this today.
05:22Whatever is said about Afghanistan, it is the responsibility of Wifaq.
05:24Before this, the CM had categorically said that
05:26the policies of the Munis are not good.
05:28I will talk to Afghanistan myself.
05:30Was that an emotional statement?
05:32Look, I was asked a question in the context of terrorism.
05:36And I replied by saying that terrorism is the responsibility of the province.
05:40In this regard, actions are not only the responsibility of the province.
05:43This is basically a Wifaq issue.
05:45Because this is a national security issue.
05:48And it is the responsibility of Wifaq.
05:50And then, the incidents that are happening in this region,
05:53this is their historical background,
05:55which should be seen from a regional perspective.
05:58And the measures taken should also be taken in a regional context.
06:01That is why it is important that Pakistan should contact Afghanistan.
06:05The rulers there, who are in control at the moment,
06:09the Emirate of Islam or Afghanistan,
06:11should talk to their leaders.
06:13So that, at least from there,
06:15the infiltration or our accusation,
06:18we can do something about it, can treat it.
06:21The government of Pakistan is acting irresponsibly at the central level.
06:25The actions are not being taken.
06:27Afghanistan is not being engaged.
06:29The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have to pay the price for this.
06:33This is what I said.
06:35And I still stand by what I said.
06:37You can see for yourself, Mr. Badami,
06:39did any of our senior officials at the central level
06:41go and engage the people of Afghanistan?
06:43Has anyone gone to Kabul or called them here?
06:45This is a very important issue.
06:47Thank you very much.
