00:01:08Resort right now about to go meet good good for dinner. We have just gotten off of quite a trip
00:01:14from New York. It doesn't really make much sense that one can fly 11 hours in the United States
00:01:19of America and still be in the United States of America. They rolled deep. They rolled deep.
00:01:25Francis is sleeping in the hotel. We should have brought him. We need backup. The feeling was like
00:01:29seeing old friends and we're about to embark on this incredible journey together. I'm a little
00:01:34tired yeah. It's a long it's a long trip from New York. You got to fly 13 hours basically but I'm
00:01:40very happy to be here. I'm a Hawaii guy. I famously went to Maui by myself two years ago. I love Hawaii
00:01:45so you don't have to twist my arm to come here. Yeah as you get older your friends kind of you're
00:01:50in different places but as soon as you see each other again you pick up right where you left off
00:01:54and I think the same thing is true with us in good good. First drink in Hawaii. Hawaiian painkiller. I
00:02:01asked him what's the first thing I should get. He didn't even like acknowledge. He laughed when I
00:02:05ordered it. Yeah a big part of Hawaiian culture is you get laid when you land or when you get to
00:02:09the hotel and it does it feels special because it means something to them. It's not a gimmick. It's
00:02:14not like oh we're doing this because we know that people think we're gonna give them a lay.
00:02:18Doing this is huge. I want to soak up the culture baby. Yeah we meet Tom who's our host for the week.
00:02:30Just an absolute legend. One of the most special parts and the reason why I've been here for 21
00:02:35years is the people though and the Aloha spirit and that is what is kind of sets this place a
00:02:44little bit differently than some of the other places that you can find tropical climates with
00:02:50with great golf around it. Flying from New York all the way to LA all the way to Hawaii. We're
00:02:55out there in Kauai. It's a long day. You are exhausted. You've been up for quite a while.
00:03:01So Tom actually says at dinner but tomorrow morning is sunrise greeting. My first thought
00:03:06was no chance am I making that because I have to sleep or else I'm not gonna be able to enjoy this
00:03:10trip. I have to get some hours in but the more that we spent time with people at dinner you
00:03:15realize how important this was gonna be and I said you know what screw it let's go see what
00:03:19this is about and wow am I happy I did that.
00:03:44I had conserved my energy enough that I was awake and ready for the sunrise
00:03:49blessing. Sunrise in Hawaii. Can't miss it. Yeah the sunrise greeting was I would say life-changing.
00:03:56It's not as dramatic as you're probably thinking when I say that. They're out there. It's chilly.
00:04:00They're on the ocean. The waves are crashing against the rocks and they're waiting for
00:04:05the sun to rise so that they can feel that warmth hit them.
00:04:16I don't remember anymore and that was incredibly sacred and beautiful and heartfelt. I almost felt
00:04:26emotional. Everyone felt emotional.
00:04:35It was amazing to see the sunrise and the metaphor that they used of the bowls the stones that are
00:04:44troubles in one's life and you can take the stones out of the bowl and remove them that you let your
00:04:49light shine back through. That really stuck with me. In fact Tom reached out to me and said they're
00:04:55sending me a bowl with some of those rocks or nuts or whatever they are because they said they knew I
00:05:00needed it. True. Dead serious. He asked me for my home address.
00:05:16I've never felt more connected to the earth than that moment and you have this little bowl. I know
00:05:23Francis got all into it. Francis has a lot of demons and a lot of negativity I think around him.
00:05:27You can always see he wears it on his chest. He wears it right on his sleeve and they told him that he
00:05:31could take his negativity and put it in a bowl. He wanted to take all the rocks and throw them in the
00:05:34bowls. It was unbelievable.
00:05:36We're going to this restaurant Tip Top. Tip Top Motel and Cafe. 150 years in the business. They say that the
00:05:44owner is an absolute stick. He's the best like senior amateur on the island. We went to the Tip Top
00:05:52Motel Cafe which is apparently a mainstay and historic location on the island of Kauai. One of the best
00:05:59breakfast spots I've ever been to. Just like no frills. You get in there you know what to order. I got pancakes
00:06:06with bananas and macadamia nuts. Yeah baby. I ordered the oxtail soup which they said was the best oxtail soup
00:06:15on the island. I don't know what oxtail soup is. Others ordered the Loco Moco Machu Picchu taco taco
00:06:23something. That's what it's all about right there. This is a loco moco. Fried rice loco moco right here. That
00:06:29looked better. It was a lot though. In hindsight I'm glad I did not have the loco moco. This is fried rice a
00:06:38hamburger patty and I always get my eggs over easy with special gravy. It's always the gravy. That's what makes
00:06:46this place special. We got the best gravy here. After the sunrise blessing I suggested I believe that we go into
00:06:52the ocean for a dip. Others joined me which was a huge surprise. You're gonna go change? Probably. You're gonna
00:06:58stop recording right? Yeah I don't know how you're gonna edit this. I hope you put like I hope you put like the
00:07:03blackout like the blur stuff on my legs. Oh you're not gonna go? Oh no not no. I'm not showing my legs. What the heck?

00:08:31I was in Big Cedar Lodge in Missouri. I had to take a flight to New York from New York to LAX from LAX to Lihu in Hawaii. I'm out of breath because I can't believe I'm even seeing this thing. We had a 35 minute layover. No chance these bags were going to make it over the layover in LAX. The only option was to ship six of them and they are here. It is the ultimate ultimate way to travel to a golf course. Everything's perfect. I have my
00:08:59golf travel bag here. I didn't have to put it in any special box. You throw the tag around the front. This thing has traveled the country. It's been here for two days. Unbelievable, man. Really, really good stuff. The fact that I have this here ship six is the only way to go. I vowed for the rest of my life to never if I can to never travel through an airport with my golf bag. I'm in Hawaii. Never play golf in Hawaii. All my stuff's here waiting for me on a golf cart. It's a luxury. It is a luxury. There's no other way to put it. Ship six. The only way to go.
