01:53According to the Department of Agriculture,
01:55the supply of vegetables has dropped by almost 28,000 metric tons
01:59particularly the vegetables from the Cordillera Region, Calabarzon, and Central Luzon.
02:05Because of this, the price of vegetables has increased by 10 to 15 percent.
02:10Next to this, the DA has alternative solutions.
02:14We have alternative sources of vegetables from Visayas, Mindanao, and here in Luzon
02:21that were not affected by the typhoon Kristina.
02:25Our AMAS, or our Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Service,
02:30is now coordinating with our regional field offices for market matching.
02:37According to the DA's estimate,
02:39the price of vegetables will only increase by one to two weeks.
